Profile

Kevin called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2006. He specialises in criminal law (both trial and appeal in all level of courts), SFC enquires, interpleader hearing. He has handled some notorious cases defending public figures such as Yip Kai Foon and those involved in the Edison Chan’s photos leakage case. Besides, he also engages in various disciplinary tribunals hearing such as police disciplinary tribunal, Hong Kong Insurance Authority, Real Estate Agent Authority etc. representing respective respondents.
Kevin is known for his attention to detail, excellent cross examination skills and high standard of advocacy in court. He has been instructed in civil cases for the purposes of cross-examination.
Kevin has been volunteering himself participating as legal coach for the secondary school mock trial competition arranged by the The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong since 2007.
Kevin has also been invited by the Judiciary to the position of Deputy Magistrate.
